Conference Workshops
Conference workshops offer a variety of opportunities for extended, hands-on learning experiences in three-hour sessions.
Registration
Workshop participants may pre-register or register onsite. Because onsite registration is dependent upon session availability, we strongly encourage you to pre-register for the workshop of your choice to ensure that you can be accommodated. Each workshop requires an additional registration fee of $55 (with a conference registration) or $80 (workshop only). When you register for a workshop, include alternate choices in case your selection is full or cancelled.
Professional Learning Credit (PLUs)
Professional Learning credit will be awarded to individuals who meet PLU course requirements.
Information for Presenters
REGISTRATION
GaETC will provide one complimentary conference registration per workshop. The person listed on the Application to Present as "Presenter 1" (main presenter) will automatically be registered and receive the complimentary registration. All other presenters must register and pay to attend the conference. A workshop may be presented by any number of people; however, only the first two presenters will be identified on the GaETC website and listed in the printed conference program.
EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE
GaETC will provide these items in each workshop room: Computer workstations with Internet connectivity for participants and for the presenter, digital projector, projection screen, sound capabilities, and wireless microphone. All other equipment, including additional computers, peripherals, cords, carts, and multiple outlets, will be the presenter's responsibility. The Microsoft Office suite will be available in most workshop labs. Presenters can contact Lisa Burkhalter at
lburkhalter@gaetc.org about other equipment and software needs.
