The Technology Leadership Forum will begin one day early
at GaETC 2008 with pre-conference sessions starting on
Tuesday, November 4, 2008. Technology Leadership
sessions will continue throughout the week during the
regular conference.
Purpose
The Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) will be
planning the Technology Leadership Forum with input from
the GaDOE Technology Steering Committee. The purpose of
this strand is to provide an opportunity for technology
leaders across the state to collaborate and share what’s
going on in their districts. By starting on Tuesday,
November 4, technology leaders will have a unique opportunity
to network together in a smaller forum and attend
sessions customized specifically to meet their needs.
The Exhibit Hall will be open on Tuesday, November 4,
at 5:00 pm to give technology leaders the chance to
research the products they need while face-to-face with
company representatives who are ready to meet with them,
answer questions, provide demonstrations, and help them
find solutions tailored specifically to their schools
and districts.
Audience
The intended audience includes Chief Information
Officers (CIOs), Chief Technology Officers (CTOs),
Technology Directors, Technology Coordinators,
Technology Specialists, Network Specialists, Student
Information Systems Specialists, and Financial
Application Specialists.
