Technical chemistry! This session will enable participants to visit a plethora
of Internet resources that are both interactive and supportive of the Georgia
Performance Standards. Interactive websites for use with stand- alone systems as
well as interactive whiteboards will be showcased and explored. Participants
will leave with Web resources for every content area and grade level, as well as
an invitation to join a new listserv and curriculum project.

Are you interested in changing Level 1 students’ attitudes toward math? This
session will focus on how a Title I school implemented a comprehensive math
support class to meet the needs of Level 1 students. The support classes uses
iLearn math to identify and target student weaknesses while providing
differentiated and innovative instruction. Educators in these classrooms have
become facilitators for learning and are able to meet the individual needs of
the learners. Consequently, after positive, successful experiences, students
have become more confident and competent in their regular math classes.

online through GALILEO’s Digital Library of Georgia that can enliven history
lessons by conveying first-hand experiences of historic events. The presenter
will provide an overview of the many sources available at the Digital Library of
Georgia (DLG), focusing on Dahlonega’s nineteenth -century gold rush and
Brunswick’s Second World War ship-building as examples of primary sources that
tell dramatic stories from Georgia’s long history.

are found on the Library of Congress website. In this session, you'll find out
how to use them at any grade level. Learn how to zoom in on historic maps, watch
Thomas Edison films, locate Dust Bowl photographs, and listen to former
slaves tell their stories. Find teacher-created lesson plans, online activities
for students, and professional development opportunities. Learn how to
participate in videoconference workshops with Library staff. The Library of
Congress website is freely accessible to all, with no login and no subscription.

formative assessment system with pre-built assessments modeled after the CRCT
and customized to the local district curriculum's scope and sequence.

district-level tools such as batch printing.

from PCGenesis. PCGenesis now produces the new reports needed for each district

We have a top-notch presenter this year, Mark Minasi, who basically wrote
the book on Windows Server operating
systems and will be holding two sessions on Active Directory at this conference
on November 17. So, before then, come to this session to get a primer on Active
Directory, and learn the basics of Microsoft's version of directory services. There will
be an overview of what Active Directory is and AD infrastructure, including
definitions of and differences between Domains, Trees, and Forests. This
presentation will also briefly cover user and group administration, touch on
group policies and objects, and present a briefing on replication management.

examples of how Excel can be used to analyze assessment files will be presented.
