Instructor:
Elizabeth Buyer, Tech4Learning |
Tuesday 11/9
9:00 am - 12:00 pm |
Since learners process images 60,000 times faster than text, using images in teacher presentations is a great way to

manipulated to teach a variety of academic concepts. Participants will explore various ways they can use ImageBlender
to address understanding in their classrooms and will manipulate images that address math concepts such as
symmetry, social studies applications for culture, language arts proficiencies for first person narratives, and more. After
editing the images, participants will put them together to create online storybooks. Participants will explore project
ideas and integration strategies that will help them incorporate this creative technology tool into their curriculum. They
will leave the workshop better informed as to how pictures really can be worth a thousand words in their classrooms.
