As director of Instructional Technology for the State of Georgia, Kim Quinn’s current duties include oversight of the Statewide Network, Consolidated Application, E-rate, Title IID federal funds, 13 ETTC (Regional Educational Technology Training Centers), 50 Wireless Schools initiative, 21st Century Learning Environment (12 Model classrooms), Georgia e-Learning (virtual learning initiative),  GLC (Georgia Learning Connections resources), Library Media programs, and the Technology Leadership Conference--to name a few.
 

Kim Quinn

As the former Director of Technology for the State of Maine, Kim led the state of Maine as the first state to deploy a statewide 1:1 Laptop Initiative. Maine's statewide wireless laptop program provided laptop computers to all seventh- and eighth-grade students and teachers and provided wireless LAN infrastructure to all 250 middle schools in Maine.  A leader and visionary, her experience and commitment to the true integration of technology in the classroom make her a sought after expert in the educational technology arena.
