and a bachelors degree in economics from the University of Alabama. He
is the co-author of two classroom technology textbooks and is also the
co-author of The Internet Tourbus

by over 100,000 people in 130+ countries. For the past four years, Patrick
has been a weekly guest on the Website Wednesday Night portion of the Steve
and Johnnie Show on WGN Radio in Chicago [AM 720 on your radio or http://wgnradio.com/listen/
on Real Audio] where he answers computer and Internet technical support
questions from callers around the world.
In the fall of 1994, Patrick
created the Roadmap Workshop, a free, 27-lesson Internet training workshop
for command line users. In the end, over 500,000 people participated in
Roadmap, making it the most popular Internet training workshop in history.
