W1.  One-Stop Technology Integration

This workshop is designed to provide practical applications of the various tools available through R*TEC for teachers.  Goals include: Instructional Design using the Internet, Project Based Learning, Assessment of Student Activities, and Strategies for Meeting Instructional and Technology Objectives.  Participants will spend the workshop developing instructional materials using TrackStar, RubiStar, PBL checklists, QuizStar and NoteStar for use in their classrooms.

PowerSchool’s web-based software will bring your school district into the 21st Century!  We have a web-based solution to Georgia’s student information needs.  During this workshop, you’ll learn to generate an FTE report; enter attendance for an individual student or the whole basketball team; enroll and schedule a new student; generate a student’s report card; and enter discipline and health information.  We’ll also look at instructional management and develop a lesson plan that correlates to the GA QCC Standards.  Then we’ll generate a Special Education IEP using unique “Smart Form” technology that assures your compliance with state and federal mandates.
